A Hungry Leo began long before this website. I've always loved to cook but truly tapped into that well of interest while in college and with a newfound independence. I posted my cooking shenanigans on Snapchat at the time, and with the push of friends and viewers alike, I created A Hungry Leo. A Hungry Leo is more than just a place to find cool recipes, my love for food grew into gardening, nature, and so many other facets of food that I never imagined would happen.

 

The thing I love about food is that I've called it living art. I love getting my hands dirty and getting a chance to put my own creativity, vision, and unique spin on something tangible. Even better yet, with food, it's something we can take a pic of for memory and enjoy afterwards. The art of being able to hit so many different senses — sight, touch, taste, smell, and even sound is the reason I love food.

What I hope for you to get out of A Hungry Leo is a chance to step into my mind with food. I just have a passion for bringing my unique vision for life. There's so many cool ways elevate food beyond something you just pop in the microwave for nutrients. Food can be a joy, from seed to plate!
